Sheet to Notion - Chrome Extension
Last updated: January 12, 2026
Overview
Sheet to Notion is a Chrome extension that allows you to export data from Google Sheets to Notion pages. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.
Key Point: We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data to our servers. All data processing happens locally in your browser.
Data We Access
To provide its functionality, the extension accesses the following data:
- Google Sheets Data: When you choose to export a spreadsheet, the extension reads the content of that specific sheet. This data is only used to create the corresponding content in Notion and is never stored or transmitted elsewhere.
- Google Account Information: We use Google OAuth to authenticate you and obtain read-only access to your spreadsheets. We only request the minimum permission needed (
spreadsheets.readonly).
- Notion API Token: You provide your Notion integration token to enable the extension to create pages in your Notion workspace. This token is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's secure storage API.
Data Storage
The extension stores the following data locally in your browser:
- Notion API Token: Stored securely using Chrome's
chrome.storage.local API to persist your connection to Notion.
- Selected Notion Page ID: Stored locally to remember your preferred destination page.
- Export Preferences: Your chosen export mode (Table or Database) is stored locally.
This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to any external servers owned by us.
Third-Party Services
The extension communicates directly with the following third-party services:
